Review this week's message.

Key Thought:

Do you trust God when you are being tested?

Key Quote

"Every test you face is really a test of who do I trust to provide for me." -Pastor Bil Cornelius

Start talking. Find a conversation starter for your group.
  • When do you typically begin decorating for Christmas?
  • Would you prefer to spend your vacation on the beach or in the mountains?
  • If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three items would you bring with you?

Start thinking. Ask a thoughtful question.
  • Do you often find yourself waiting for God’s provision before you take action?
  • Have you invited God into the “back room” areas of your life that you previously kept private?

Start sharing. Choose questions that create openness.
  • Can you share a time when you felt tested in your faith? What was the outcome?
  • In what ways have you noticed that your love for something (money, a person, a position, etc.) may have overshadowed your love for God?

Start doing. Commit to a step and live it out this week.
  • What role does gratitude play in your response to the tests you encounter in life?
    • Share where you currently feel tested and then share three reasons why you are grateful for this test.
