Review this week's message.

Start talking. Find a conversation starter for your group.
  • What is your favorite item that you've bought this year?
  • If you could add anyone to Mount Rushmore who would it be; why?
  • What is your favorite season and why?

Start thinking. Ask a thoughtful question.
  • What stuck out from this Sunday's message?
  • What is a door that God has opened for you that you need to do your part and get moving towards?

Start sharing. Choose questions that create openness.
  • Where is God moving in your life right now? How can you join in the work He is doing?
  • What does is mean to wait on the Lord? What does it look like for you to do so personally?

Start praying. Be bold, and pray with power.

Jesus, thank you for blessing our church with the opportunity to open a Portland campus! Please help us love and serve the city of Portland. Amen!

Start doing. Commit to a step and live it out this week.
  • If you are in the Portland area and attend another campus, join the CU Portland launch team!
  • If you're not local to Portland, consider giving extra towards our Portland campus and pray for God to provide above and beyond for the launch team.

Scriptures

Then Balaam said to King Balak, “Build me seven altars here, and prepare seven young bulls and seven rams for me to sacrifice.”  Numbers 23:1 NLT (says this 3 times in one chapter)

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.  Philippians 4:6 NAS

Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart.  Psalm 37:4 AMP

Wait for the Lord and keep his way, and he will exalt you to inherit the land… Psalm 37:34 NLT

Then Moses raised his hand over the sea, and the Lord opened up a path through the water with a strong east wind. The wind blew all that night, turning the seabed into dry land.  So the people of Israel walked through the middle of the sea on dry ground, with walls of water on each side!  Exodus 14:21 NLT

One day Moses was tending the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro, the priest of Midian. He led the flock far into the wilderness and came to Sinai, the mountain of God. There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a blazing fire from the middle of a bush. Moses stared in amazement. Though the bush was engulfed in flames, it didn’t burn up. “This is amazing,” Moses said to himself. “Why isn’t that bush burning up? I must go see it.” When the Lord saw Moses coming to take a closer look, God called to him from the middle of the bush, “Moses! Moses!” “Here I am!” Moses replied...  “Now go, for I am sending you to Pharaoh. You must lead my people Israel out of Egypt.”  Exodus 3:1-4,10 NLT

Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”  Matthew 28:19-20 NLT
