Review this week's message.

Key Thought:

How to be an influencer.

Key Quote

“You are God’s chosen instrument to make an impact where you are.” – Pastor Bil Cornelius

Start talking. Find a conversation starter for your group.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Tell us about the best vacation you have ever been on.

What’s your favorite song right now?

Start thinking. Ask a thoughtful question.

People with great influence spend more time creating than consuming. How much time in your week do you spend consuming content (social media, Netflix, etc)?

What would it look like for you to focus on fulfilling the purpose God has for your life instead of watching other people live theirs?

Everyone has been given “uncommon advantages” to make an impact. Think about your own life, what are some advantages you have that others may not?

Start sharing. Choose questions that create openness.

Sometimes, the shame of a past decision can keep us from viewing ourselves as influencers. What past mistake do you need to let go of to step into your influence today?

How you deal with the pain you’re living through is how you grow your influence. Is there a problem in your life that may be an avenue to build your influence?

What did God put you on this earth to create?

Start praying. Be bold, and pray with power.

Dear Jesus, thank you for the influence you have given me for your Kingdom. Please help me to use it for your glory! Amen.

Start doing. Commit to a step and live it out this week.

This week, take a break from social media and tv. Spend that time with God creating instead!

Serve at our Westside Mission this week with your family or Lifegroup.

So Paul, standing before the council, addressed them as follows: “Men of Athens, I notice that you are very religious in every way, 23 for as I was walking along I saw your many shrines. I teach nothing except what the prophets and Moses said would happen—23 that the Messiah would suffer and be the first to rise from the dead, and in this way announce God’s light to Jews and Gentiles alike.” 24 Suddenly, Festus shouted, “Paul, you are insane. Too much study has made you crazy!” 25 But Paul replied, “I am not insane, Most Excellent Festus. What I am saying is the sober truth. 26 And King Agrippa knows about these things. I speak boldly, for I am sure these events are all familiar to him, for they were not done in a corner! 27 King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know you do—” Agrippa interrupted him. “Do you think you can persuade me to become a Christian so quickly?” Acts 26:22-28
