• What are the most common goals you hear people express for their lives?
• Who are some people that really dominated in their field? What made them so good?
• What do you find most interesting about the idea of getting into orbit?
• If you were offered a chance to go into space, would you? Why or why not?

• Why does it take more effort for a rocket to launch than keep it going once it’s in orbit? How does that principle play out in life?
• What are some time wasters that distract us from focusing on getting into orbit?
• NASA never waters down its rocket fuel. How can this principle relate to launching your life?
• What are some practical habits that can be put in place to accomplish goals?

• Have you been guilty of envying other people’s marriages, careers, athletic ability, etc. once they’ve already been in orbit? How has that mindset impacted your own life?
• How many minutes (or hours) a day would you say you lose from your biggest time waster? What productive things could you be doing with that time?
• Successful people and organizations take something simple to a bigger multiple. What is a simple thing in your life you can take to a multiple?
• In what area should you be laser-focused in your life that you aren’t?

Dear Jesus, thank you for the gift of work. Help us to view it as a good thing and not something to dread. Give us the strength and discipline to persevere, work hard, and ultimately launch our lives into orbit for your glory. In your name we pray, Amen.

• Time is one of our most valuable assets, because it’s the only one we can’t get back. We can always get another house, car, job, or boat, but we can never get more time. Commit to either reducing or eliminating the biggest timewaster in your life that you identified above, and replace it with something that your future you will thank you for.
• We often look at other people’s lives, whether it’s their career, marriage, talents, or something else, and wish that we could be like them. However, what we don’t usually see is the time they put into that area of their life. Think about something that you really want and begin investing time in that area every day. In the coming months and years you will begin seeing the fruit of your labor.
• Get laser-focused on your walk with Christ. Get all-in on The U (UATTEND, USERVE, UGROUP, UTITHE, UBRING) with singular vision. If you’re already doing these things, discuss with the group how you can multiply your efforts in these areas.
