Review this week's message.

Start talking. Find a conversation starter for your group.
  • Last week, we talked about setting goals and sticking it them! How did everyone do?
  • What is one thing you learned this past week that was holding you back from achieving your goals? (a mindset, habit, etc.)


Start thinking. Ask a thoughtful question.
  • Which of the 5 types of pain (genetic, grudge, group, giant, growing) resonated with you most? Why?
  • Give an example of “genetic pain” in your life, if you are comfortable doing so. 


Start sharing. Choose questions that create openness.
  • Have you ever struggled with holding a grudge? How can you release yourself from that today?
  •  Is there a situation in your life that is painful, but is bringing growth with the pain?


Start praying. Be bold, and pray with power.

Jesus, thank you for using all of the pain in my life for Your purpose. I trust you Lord. Amen!



Start doing. Commit to a step and live it out this week.
  • Ask God to give you the right people and resources to help you heal from the pain that you talked about above.
  • Try journaling every day this week during your quiet time!
