Review this week's message.

Key Thought:

Keys to a greater impact.

Start talking. Find a conversation starter for your group.
  • What do you do for work? What is your favorite thing about your job?
  • Tell the group about one person that has shaped you into who you are today.
  • What is your favorite Fall activity?

Start thinking. Ask a thoughtful question.
  • Pastor Dante shared his story and how He found Church Unlimited and got involved. Tell the group how you found CU!
  • "The results of ignoring the Lord are painful and obvious." Have you experienced this in your own life at any point?

Start sharing. Choose questions that create openness.
  • What gift/talent do you have that could be used to serve the church? If you can't think of anything for yourself, let your Lifegroup tell you what they see in you!
  • What part of “The U” are you hesitant to fully jump into? Why?

Start praying. Be bold, and pray with power.

God, thank you for giving me unique gifts. Help me to use them to honor You. Amen.

Start doing. Commit to a step and live it out this week.

What part of “The U” do you need to begin doing? Whether it is attending regularly, bringing a friend, tithing, or serving, start this week!

Scriptures

... they also shut the doors to the Temple’s entry room, and they snuffed out the lamps. They stopped burning incense and presenting burnt offerings at the sanctuary of the God of Israel. “That is why the Lord’s anger has fallen upon Judah and Jerusalem. He has made them an object of dread, horror, and ridicule, as you can see with your own eyes. Because of this, our fathers have been killed in battle, and our sons and daughters and wives have been captured.  2 Chronicles 29:7-9 NLT

As the church submits to Christ, so you wives should submit to your husbands in everything. For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word. Ephesians 5:24-26 NLT

He did what was pleasing in the Lord’s sight, just as his ancestor David had done In the very first month of the first year of his reign, Hezekiah reopened the doors of the Temple of the Lord and repaired them.  2 Chronicles 29:2-3 NLT

For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many. Mark 10:45 NLT

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,’ says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies,’ I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!’” Malachi 3:10

But now I will make a covenant with the Lord, the God of Israel, so that his fierce anger will turn away from us. My sons, do not neglect your duties any longer! The Lord has chosen you to stand in his presence, to minister to him, and to lead the people in worship and present offerings to him.”  2 Chronicles 29:10-11 NLT
