Start talking. Find a conversation starter for your group.
  • What’s something that cheers you up when you are sad?
  • What was the best part about being a kid?
  • If you could go across the country with a famous person, who would it be?
  • If you were an animal, what would you be and why?


Start thinking. Ask a thoughtful question.
  • Why are we willing to wait than to ask and do what God has called us to do?
  • Why do many times we seek our own dreams without God in the equation?
  • Why are mentors important in our lives?
  • How do we defeat the temptation to give up when the going gets tough?


Start sharing. Choose questions that create openness.
  • If you change nothing in your life, and you play out the movie, are you fully satisfied with what you will see?
  • Who do you need to reach out to for them to mentor in what you’re wanting to succeed?
  • What is God trying to call you to, but you keep running from it? 
  • What have you given up on that God wants you to pick back up?


Start praying. Be bold, and pray with power.

Dear Jesus, thank you for everything you do. We ask you to guide us to where you want us to go. We know that you listen to us when we pray. In Jesus name, Amen. 



Start doing. Commit to a step and live it out this week.
  • Ask God where He wants to take you and write out what it’ll take to get there.
  • Seek out a mentor in an area you want to grow in.
  • Ask a friend to hold you accountable and encourage you when you want to give up.
