Review this week's message.

Key Thought:

Can you keep saying “Amen” even when life doesn’t look like you expected?

Start talking. Find a conversation starter for your group.
  • Describe your week in one word.
  • If you had to give a TED Talk with no prep, what topic could you talk about for 20 minutes?
  • What is a favorite memory from your childhood.

Start thinking. Ask a thoughtful question.
  • Who do you turn to when you're going through a hard time? Do you have a faith community you lean on?
  • What does “God’s promises are Yes and Amen” mean in your own words?

Start sharing. Choose questions that create openness.
  • Have you ever tried to go through a season alone? What did you learn from that experience?
  • Have you ever seen God teach you something through a child or a younger believer?
  • What does it look like for you to invite God into your trials instead of waiting for them to be over?

Start doing. Commit to a step and live it out this week.
  • What is one area in your life where you’re still waiting on God’s promise — and what’s one way you can choose to trust Him in it this week?
    • Write out a prayer or journal entry each day this week, starting with “Amen — I trust You with…” and fill in the blank with that situation. Then, thank God in advance for how He’s working behind the scenes, even if you can’t see it yet.
