Review this week's message.

Key Thought:

How does Sabbath rest restore our soul and remind us who we are in God?

Key Quote

Every Sabbath is an opportunity to rest your body, refill your soul, and remind your heart who you are.

Start talking. Find a conversation starter for your group.
  • Imagine your thoughts appear as emojis above your head. What three showed up most today?
  • What’s an imaginary award you think you’d win, hands down?
  • What’s a question you wish people would ask you more often?

Start thinking. Ask a thoughtful question.
  • In what ways have you seen people ignore the need for rest, and what are the consequences?
  • How can spending time with others be part of honoring the Sabbath, as Hebrews 10:25 suggests?

Start sharing. Choose questions that create openness.
  • Who in your life restores your soul, and how can you prioritize time with them on the Sabbath?
  • How do you remind your heart who you are in Christ on a regular basis? What practices help?
  • What would change in your life if you took the Sabbath seriously every week?

Start doing. Commit to a step and live it out this week.
  • What is one intentional way you can practice Sabbath rest this week to restore your soul and connect with God?
    • Choose one day or a few hours this week to unplug from work and distractions. Spend that time doing something that restores your soul—such as praying, going for a walk, journaling, worshiping, or sharing a meal with someone life-giving. Be intentional about making space for rest, connection, and worship.
