Review this week's message.

Key Thought:

Revival:  renewal or awakening.  A reviving of interest (as in art, literature or religion).

Start talking. Find a conversation starter for your group.
  • Tell the group about the highlight of your week.
  • What is your favorite Easter candy? least favorite?

Start thinking. Ask a thoughtful question.
  • What stuck out to you from this weekend's message?
  • Repentance is not only having a change of heart, but also having a change of plans. What did God put on your heart that you need to truly repent of and turn away from?

Start sharing. Choose questions that create openness.
  • What does it mean to “burn old options”? Is there an area of your life that you've had to do this or that you need to do this moving forward?
  • God gives us each dreams to see through while we're on Earth. What is a dream that you have and how can you use it to advance the Kingdom of God?

Start praying. Be bold, and pray with power.

Jesus, we want revival in our families, our church, and our cities! Please give us a renewed love for you and one another. Amen!

Start doing. Commit to a step and live it out this week.

Bring someone to Easter services with you this weekend!

Scriptures

You were sorry and humbled yourself before the LORD when you heard what I said against this city and its people-that this land would be cursed and become desolate. Then the king summoned all the elders of Judah and Jerusalem...He pledged to obey the Lord by keeping all his commands, laws, and decrees with all his heart and soul. In this way, he confirmed all the terms of the covenant that were written in the scroll, and all the people pledged themselves to the covenant.  2 Kings 23:1-3 NLT

Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’  All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”  Matthew 22:36-40 NIV

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”  Matthew 28:19-20 NIV

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.  Romans 12:2
