Review this week's message.

Key Thought:

How can you be a light to others?

Key Quote

“You tell me your habits, and I’ll tell you your future.” -Pastor Bil Cornelius

Start talking. Find a conversation starter for your group.
  • What’s your go-to coffee shop order?
  • Are you an early bird or a night owl?
  • What’s one habit you’ve recently started that you’re proud of?

Start thinking. Ask a thoughtful question.
  • What role does God’s Word play in guiding your daily decisions?
  • What habits are currently shaping your future, and which ones do you want to begin implementing?

Start sharing. Choose questions that create openness.
  • The words “promise” and “testimony” are used repeatedly in Psalm 119. What do these words mean to you, and how do they shape your understanding of God’s character?
  • In what ways has exposing your sin to God and trusted individuals led to healing or growth in your life?

Start doing. Commit to a step and live it out this week.
  • How does God’s Word guide you and bring you freedom?
    • Read Psalm 119 with your LifeGroup and share a verse or theme that stands out to you. How will this passage guide you in the coming week?

Scriptures

“Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.” Psalm 119:105

“The teaching of your word gives light, so even the simple can understand.” Psalm 119:130

“...God's light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants." John 3:19-21

“But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7

“You are the light of the world-like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.” Matthew 5:14-16

“...You will be my witnesses...” Acts 1:8
