Review this week's message.

Key Thought:

How to become the person that you are looking for.

Start talking. Find a conversation starter for your group.
  • If you could have dinner with anyone, past or present, who would it be and why?
  • What is your favorite book/podcast right now?
  • Tell the group something great that happened in your life this past week!

Start thinking. Ask a thoughtful question.
  • What stuck out from this week's message?
  • If unmarried, what are you looking for in a spouse that you are doing yourself? If you're married, what is one trait that you really value in your spouse?
  • What is one thing you need to change to attract the right person? if you're already married, what is one thing you need to change to strengthen your marriage?

Start sharing. Choose questions that create openness.
  • What “life-enhancing goal" are you working towards currently?
  • Of the “evaluate yourself” questions that Pastor Bil listed (listed below in “start doing”), which one resonated with you most? How can you work on that aspect of your life?

Start praying. Be bold, and pray with power.

Jesus, help me to become the person that you want me to. Help me to become more like You! Thank you for the life you have given me. Amen.

Start doing. Commit to a step and live it out this week.

Of the list that Pastor Bil gave (Do you have a career job? Do you have some kind of marketability to create a large enough income to support a family one day? Are you in good physical shape? Are you healthy emotionally? Are you struggling with any potential addictions? Are you disciplined in the use of your time?  Is your boss happy with you? Are you a mess?) determine which ones you currently struggle in and make an action plan on how to grow in those areas.
