Review this week's message.
Key Thought: How can we shift from selfishness to selflessness in our relationships?
Key Quote
“You can either defend mediocrity or humble yourself and fix the issue.” – Pastor Bil Cornelius
Start talking. Find a conversation starter for your group.
- What's your love language, and how do you express it?
- If you could change one thing about your daily routine, what would it be?
- What’s the most meaningful compliment you’ve ever received?
Start thinking. Ask a thoughtful question.
- What are some “little foxes” (small issues) that you think can ruin relationships over time?
- Why do you think people struggle with prioritizing others over themselves?
Start sharing. Choose questions that create openness.
- Have you ever experienced a “listening session” where someone truly listened to you? How did it feel?
- What are some practical ways to shift from selfishness to selflessness in any relationship?
- How can people identify and fix past wounds that may affect their current or future relationships?
Start doing. Commit to a step and live it out this week.
- How can we prioritize selflessness in our relationships and recognize when selfishness is causing harm?
- Commit to a daily “selflessness check” by asking, "How have I put others first today?" and "Where can I improve?" Then, take one intentional action to prioritize someone else—whether through listening, serving, or showing appreciation.
