Dear Jesus, thank you for the grace that you displayed to us in your death, burial, and resurrection. We don’t deserve salvation, but are thankful for the free gift you’ve given. Help us to live with urgency in sharing this gift with others. In your name we pray, Amen.

There were two rooms in that Tabernacle. In the first room were a lampstand, a table, and sacred loaves of bread on the table. This room was called the Holy Place. When God spoke from Mount Sinai his voice shook the earth, but now he makes another promise: “Once again I will shake not only the earth but the heavens also.” This means that all of creation will be shaken and removed, so that only unshakable things will remain.
