Review this week's message.

Key Thought:

You are a member of God’s royal family.

Key Quote

“Your talent is God’s gift to you. What you do with it, is your gift back to God.” – Pastor Marcus Brendling

Start talking. Find a conversation starter for your group.
  • When do you start decorating for Christmas and listening to Christmas music?
  • What Christmas traditions does your family have?
  • What is your favorite Christmas song?
  • Do you prefer traveling for the holidays or staying at home?

Start thinking. Ask a thoughtful question.
  • Why should we rejoice when we’re in a “stuck” season?
  • How does knowing we’re a part of God’s royal family impact the way we live?
  • What are practical ways you cling to your faith during hard seasons?
  • Why do we have to go through a “refining” process?

Start sharing. Choose questions that create openness.
  • Tell the group about a time when you were stuck. How did God see you through it?
  • What is your gut response when trials hit?
  • What is something God is working in you to change?
  • How are you writing your story?

Start praying. Be bold, and pray with power.

Dear Jesus, thank you for dying for me. Help me to live as a member of Your royal family should and to use my gifts to glorify You. Amen.

Start doing. Commit to a step and live it out this week.
  • Write a list of things you are thankful for.
  • Ask God to show you anything He wants to change in yourself.
  • Find a way to use your gifts to bring glory and honor to God.
