Review this week's message.

Key Thought:

The Christmas Season can sometimes be a tough season in our lives.  Do you currently find yourself in a dark season?

Key Quote

“God gave us a scripture (script-cure) to cure our spiritual ailments." - Pastor Bil Cornelius

Start talking. Find a conversation starter for your group.
  • Which do you prefer, oceans or mountains? Why?
  • What's the last thing you did for the first time?
  • How do you recognize when you're stressed?

Start thinking. Ask a thoughtful question.
  • Often times we feel disappointed, distressed, doubtful and depressed: Do you ever get so low that you doubt whether or not God is even working in your life?
  • Have you been betrayed by a loved one or close friend?

Start sharing. Choose questions that create openness.
  • The Apostle Paul said, “For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do." Have you found yourself doing what you don’t want to do and wonder how you can change?
  • Jesus is the light when we are in a dark place, how can you draw nearer to him this week?

Start praying. Be bold, and pray with power.

Lord Jesus, thank you for being the light in our darkest moments. Use these times to change us to become more like You. Draw us closer to You through your Word and show us the next step to take. In your name we pray, Amen.

Start doing. Commit to a step and live it out this week.

God only gives us enough light to trust Him to take the next step rather than reveal the whole picture. Is there something God has revealed to you to leave behind so that you can take the next step towards Him?
