Review this week's message.

Key Thought:

What if the miracle I’m waiting for is waiting on my obedience?

Key Quote

God doesn’t need an atmosphere of agreement, he needs one faithful, obedient heart. – Cole Cornelius

Start talking. Find a conversation starter for your group.
  • What’s the weirdest or funniest nickname someone’s ever given you?
  • What’s one thing you always take with you to the beach or on vacation?
  • If you had an unlimited budget and one free weekend, where would you go?

Start thinking. Ask a thoughtful question.
  • What does it mean to believe beyond the impossible, according to Ephesians 3:20?
  • How does obedience play a role in unlocking God’s promises?
  • In what ways do we “prepare” for what we truly believe in? What does your preparation say about your faith?

Start sharing. Choose questions that create openness.
  • Is there a miracle you’re praying for, but haven’t prepared your heart or life to receive?
  • Are there areas where you're letting your past failures limit your future faith?

Start doing. Commit to a step and live it out this week.
  • What’s one step you can take this week to walk in the overflow God has promised?
    • Obey one clear thing God has already asked you to do. Whether it’s forgiving someone, tithing, serving, praying consistently, or stepping out in faith—choose one act of obedience and follow through.

Scriptures

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or even imagine, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20 NKJV

So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. Romans 8:6 NLT

And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” Now some of the scribes were sitting there, questioning in their hearts, “Why does this man speak like that? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?” And immediately Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they thus questioned within themselves, said to them, “Why do you question these things in your hearts? Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Rise, take up your bed and walk’? But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he said to the paralytic— “I say to you, rise, pick up your bed, and go home.” And he rose and immediately picked up his bed and went out before them all, so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!” Mark 2:5-12 ESV
